She was a retired employee of Wood County Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. She was an active member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green.
Darlene had a strong faith in God and her love touched many people. She enjoyed quilting, scrap book keeping, cooking and spending endless hours with her grandchildren. She had a strong giving spirit and passion for helping others. Her beautiful smile touched many lives and she will be remembered for her perseverance to go on no matter how hard it was.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son James Myers, a brother Ronald Wolfe, a sister Lori A. Fisher and a sister Debra K (Wolfe) Heslop.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years James D. Myers, daughter Cathleen (Sean) Serna of Sandusky, OH, son Troy (Jennifer) Myers of Bowling Green, OH, and daughter-in-law Mary Myers also of Bowling Green. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren Jordon, Sam, Catie, Olivia, Ben, Annie, Lucy, Marisa, Brian and Jessica.
Services will be private for the family. Dunn Funeral Home, 408 West Wooster St. in Bowling Green is assisting the family with arrangements.
