Elizabeth Mary ¨Betts¨ Egan (nee Stenftenagel), born January 1, 1928, died peacefully March 22, 2018 in Montgomery Ohio. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Egan and survived by her five children and their families. Rick and Julie Egan, Chris and Bob Beech, Karen Egan, Tim and Mary Egan and Kevin and Stacy Egan all of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Betts or Sten, as she was lovingly called, grew up in a family of eight children in Jasper, Indiana and graduated with a nursing degree from St. Joseph School of Nursing in Louisville, Kentucky. She married James Richard Egan on November 25, 1950 and they eventually moved to Cincinnati to raise their family. She was a dedicated wife and mother, a loving grandmother to 14 and great grandmother to 10.

A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 10:30 AM at All Saints Parish on Montgomery Road. A visitation will take place from 9:30-10:30 in the main church of All Saints. All are welcome to attend and celebrate.
