Evelyn Carver Rich, 82, of 1360 New Stock Rd., Weaverville, passed away March 23, 2108.
She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Faye Gibbs Carver.
Mrs. Rich was a member of Mt. Bethel Freewill Baptist Church and was retired from Square D.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband J.C. Rich.
She is survived by a daughter Michelle Loux; a grandson and the light of her life, Matthew James Carol Rich II; special niece, Kimberly Ponder (Rodney); sister, Eloise Roberts; brother, Roy Carver (Vertie Lou); niece Ronda Burris (Kevin); great nephew, Brison Ponder and several other family members.
A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Monday, 26, 2018 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Mike Thomas, Roy McPeters and Roger Boone will officiate.
The burial will follow in the Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12-2:00pm prior to the service.
