James Robert Branscum Sr., 67, of Batesville died Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Farmington, Missouri.
He was born on July 30, 1950 in Batesville, Arkansas to Clarence and Virginia (Ross) Branscum.
James loved the Lord with all of his heart and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing along with working with many types of crafts.
He is survived by his father; one son, James Robert Branscum Jr. (Bobbie Jo) of Conway; two daughters, Shari Lewis of Conway, Amanda Steward (Teri) of Southside; one brother, Donald Branscum Sr. (Rhonda) of Batesville; three sisters, Brenda Easter (Ray McCans) of Batesville, June Holman (Charles) of Floral, Kathy Barnett (Ron) of Floral; six grandchildren, Tanner Blassingame, Lexi Blassingame, Katherine Steward, Nikola Steward, Bryanna Cook, Kara Cook, as well as a host of other family members including many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; grandmother, Pearl Branscum; and grandfather, Elbert Branscum.
Pallbearers will be Russell Branscum, Roy Branscum, Johnny Branscum, Stanley Branscum, Shaun Branscum, Jimmy Branscum, Donald Branscum Jr., and Jim Branscum.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Easter Jr., Buddy Lucy, and Al Bennet.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Maple Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Maple Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville.
