Mrs. Wells was born January 2, 1935 in Cherokee County, SC to the late John Henry and Martha Beatrice Martin McCarley. She was married December 21, 1959 to the late Johnnie C. Wells.
Survivors are her five children, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother, and many nieces and nephews.
