Addie Thornton Thompson, age 97, of LaGrange, passed away on February 10, 2021. She was born on September 10, 1923 to the late Morris Emory Thornton and Arzona Ward Thornton in Carroll County, GA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Boykin Thompson.
Survivors include her sons, Roger Thompson (Diane), Morris Thompson, and Gary Thompson (Jenny); twin sister, Liddie Huber (the late Richard); grandchildren, Stacy Johnson (Keith), Patti Colwell (Luke), Jon Thompson (Heather), Katie Soto (Armando), William Thompson (Ashley), Lori Smith, Angie Bowles (Ben), Whitney Hewitt (Chris), Lindsay Reaves (Todd), Heather Aalto (Kevin), and Kelly Williams (Kaylor); great grandchildren, Valerie Johnson, Brian Johnson, Austin Colwell, Levi Colwell, Abbey Thompson, Carson Thompson, Charlie Thompson, Desi Soto, Oliver Soto, Corbin Soto, Colton Thompson, Will Thompson, Rylee Thompson, Maggie Thompson, Owen Thompson, Bryon Bowles, Reagan Bowles, Alexa Reaves, Mark Reaves, Brantlee Aalto, Garrett Aalto, Addie Williams, Weston Williams; extended family and friends.
Family will have visitation from 11:00 – 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Caleb Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
