Joe Richard Carroll was born Jan. 5, 1928, to Edith (Earl) Carroll and Frank M. Carroll in Ninnekah. He left this world on March 18, 2018, in Lawton.

Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Frank Carroll; sister, Lena (Carroll) McComas; brother, Ed Carroll; and son, Jeffry Joe Carroll.

He is survived by his son, Frank C. Carroll and wife, Charlotte “Jess” Carroll; daughter-in-law, Diane Carroll; granddaughter, Shelby Ross and husband, Keith “Brian” Ross; and great-grandsons, Easton Boa and Brian Jeffry Ross.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Veterans Center in Lawton for taking such great care of Joe in his last months with us.

A come-and-go potluck memorial lunch will be held at the Ninnekah Senior Citizens Center on March 24, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to celebrate the life of Joe R. Carroll.
