Aaron Murden Henry was born on August 10 1936 in Washington DC to Ruth Murden and Robert Henry, He was the youngest of four children born to this union. At a very young age, his family moved to New York City

Aaron grew up in Harlem New York, where he attended and graduated from George Washington High School in 1949, he then went on to Morehouse College and graduated in 1953 with a Bachelor Degree in Business and Social Work, While at Morehouse, Aaron pledged into Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Aaron left Morehouse with two very proud titles, He was a Kappa Man and he was also a Morehouse Man Aaron returned to New York where he married and raised five Daughters

Aaron later moved to California where he worked for San Francisco County Social Services. After several years he transferred to Alameda County Social Services, where he later met and married Arline Williams, They worked together until they both retired in 1997

Aaron and Arline moved to Chesapeake Virginia for a few years before relocating and settling in Sarasota in 2001, He was very active with the Van Wetzel Performing Arts Hall, where he volunteered as an usher and was later hired as an usher supervisor, he was also active with his Fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi and (ASALH) The Association For The Study Of African American Life And History, Before taking ill and his passing on March 17, 2018

Aaron will be fondly remembered by his wife Arline, along with other family members and friends.
