He was born June 2, 1933 in Cleveland County to the late George Phillip Morrison and Cora Crouch Morrison.
Bob was a United States Army Veteran, member of Mt. Ruhama Baptist Church in Maiden and member of Bandy's Fire Department for over twenty years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters

Son: Wesley Morrison and wife Angie of Newton
Daughter: Bonita Black and husband David of Newton
Brother: Fred Morrison of Lincolnton
Grandchildren: Amber Black, Whitney Morrison Hughes and husband Cody, Stephanie Morrison Dellinger and husband Michael
Great-Grandchild: Peyton Myla Hughes arriving April 7th.
A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Ruhama Baptist Church in Maiden. Rev. Michael Staton will officiate.
Burial with military honors by American Legion Post 16 will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:45 p.m. at Mt. Ruhama Baptist Church.
