Mark Evan Ferguson, 56, of 4015 Clifton Glendale Road, Spartanburg, S.C. went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at his residence.
Born in Cowpens, S.C. he was the husband of the late Tammy Payne Ferguson and son of Emma McConnell Ferguson of the home and the late Robert Ferguson.
He was a graduate of Broome High School, loved fishing and crossword puzzles, and attended Trinity Fellowship.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a son, Cody Ferguson of Spartanburg; a daughter, Sheena Ferguson (Kyle Bastarache) of Spartanburg; a sister, Robin Furr and husband, Rob of Cowpens; a granddaughter,Gracie River Bastarache; two nephews, Dustin Furr and wife, Nina, Joshua Furr and wife, Courtney, both of Spartanburg; a great-niece, Mary Rose Furr and a great-nephew, Cullen Jeremiah Furr.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Wade Ferguson and a niece, Alicia Dawn Furr.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Trinity Fellowship with Pastor Mike McConnell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
