In Branford, March 21, 2018, Judith Haynes Doyle . She was the wife of the late John Patrick "Sam" Doyle (NHFD. Ret). Loving mother of Senior Assistant State's Attorney John P.Doyle Jr. and wife Stacia, Fire Marshal Robert S. Doyle (NHFD) and wife Lori, Deborah A. Russo and husband Kevin and Police Sergeant Christopher M. Doyle (MPD) and wife Sarah. Devoted grandmother of Brittney, Courtney, Avery, Cody, Bradley, Jacob, Rylee, Megan, John P. III, Ryan and Olivia. Great-grandmother of Charlotte. Sister of Jacqueline Santamaria, Kathleen Braren, Roger Haynes and wife Noella, Patricia Haynes, Cynthia Krewsky and husband John, Peggy Oczkowski and husband Ronald, William Haynes, Sherri Haynes, Rebecca Chan and husband David, and the late John Haynes. Sister in law of Richard T. Doyle Jr. and wife Virginia and Paul S. Doyle and wife Bernice. Predeceased by brothers in law Malcom Braren and Antonio Santamaria. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Born April 18, 1943 in New Haven, a daughter of the late Hollis and Rose Haynes, she was a graduate of Guilford High School. Upon graduation she attended the University of New Haven, earning an Associates Degree in Business, before taking a position in the Advertising Department of the New Haven Register. She worked in that position for several years before marrying and raising four children. While her children were in school she returned to the University of New Haven and earned her Bachelor's Degree cum laude in Psychology. She then started a career with the State of Connecticut, Department of Social Services as an Investigator, a position she held until her retirement. She was an avid reader, enjoyed travel, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great-granddaughter. She was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren and their accomplishments.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Augustine's Church, 80 Caputo Rd., North Branford, Ct on Monday at 10:00 am. Friends are asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
