Robert Arnold Dewsnap, age 76, passed away Friday, November 26, 1999 in Provo, Utah.

Born June 12, 1923 in Owego, New York the son of William and Nellie Graves Dewsnap. He grew up in that area, graduated from Owego Academy, and upon leaving there joined the U.S. Army, serving in World War II. As a long time resident of Needles, CA, his career took him from the Santa Fe to the founding of Desert Refrigeration where he retired. He was a member of the local VFW and Elks Club. He loved traveling and exploring the great outdoors. Boating on the Colorado was one of his favorite pastimes. While living in Utah, Bob's main interest was being a volunteer fire fighter for the Central Utah area. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and second wife, Jeanne.

Survivors include his third wife, Iris of Mapleton, UT; son Bill Dewsnap of Beaverton, OR; daughters, Cathy Zozaya of Vancouver, WA; Suzi Terrell of West Linn, OR; Emily Grider of Colorado Springs, CO; three stepchildren, Tony and Larry Hestand and Janis Lowery. He had five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
