Charlotte Maxine Nordenstrom was, and always will be, an amazing person. On March 25, 1950, she blessed the lives of Donald and Carrol Johns. Those are the first people for whom she touched. Through her early childhood, she brightened the lives of her two brothers, David and Johnny. In such a short time, the lives of those four people had changed for the better.
As she got older, she brought two beautiful beings into this world. Steven and Michael were born on February 2, 1974. Her love for them was unmatched by any other. With the love and help from herself, and her parents, Charlotte raised these two boys to be outstanding men. With a giving heart like hers, the love didn’t stop there. Steven and Michael have both since had children of their own. On April 10, 2000, her first grandson, Justin Nordenstrom, arrived. On February 7, 2017, her second grandson, Sang Nordenstrom, arrived. Charlotte also gained two step grandchildren, Laura and Tanner. Although they were not hers since birth, she loved them as if they were. Nothing made Charlotte happier than the joy of being a grandparent, and showering the children with love. That is what Charlotte did. She loved.
Charlotte did not just show love, she showed commitment. Committed to raise her children, she had to find work. She started her career with the phone company. For over forty years, she committed herself to the company, and endured all the changes and challenges that came along with it. During her time there, she had the opportunity to affect the lives of thousands more, and did it with her love and kindness.
Charlotte, as clearly seen in the life she lived, the love she gave, and the people she touched, was amazing. The love, that can still be felt from her, is amazing. She will always be loved, always be remembered, and always be Charlotte. A daughter, a sister, a mom, a memaw, and a friend.
