Arlowyn Ann Graham of Longmont died February 6, 2018 at Peaks Care Center. She was 83.
Arlowyn was born on August 22, 1934 in Lafayette, Colorado to Harold Alexander and Thelma (King) Alexander. The family moved to Longmont where she attended school, and graduated from Longmont High in 1952.
Arlowyn married Dean Graham on January 4, 1953 in Longmont.
Arlowyn was a devoted homemaker, providing for her husband and five boys. She was loved by all who knew her, and will be especially missed by her sons and their families, as she was such an important part of their lives. Arlowyn loved motherhood, attending hundreds of baseball games and sporting events, where she and Dean enjoyed their sons' exploits, beginning in little league, through their high school careers, and beyond. Arlowyn also enjoyed working for a number of years for the St. Vrain Valley School District as a cook, where she helped prepare lunch for the special children of her community.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, son David Graham and a brother Harold Alexander.
Surviving are her sons: Alan (Nancy) Graham of Tucson, Arizona; Brad (Betty) Graham of Red Feather Lakes, Colorado; Clay (Julee) Graham of Berthoud, Colorado and Kevin (Laura) Graham of Vernal, Utah; sisters Sharon Knauth of Big Fork, Montana and Judith Block of Rockwell City, Iowa; and 13 grandchildren; Tyson and Travis Graham, Kate (Ira) Hove, Sean (Melissa), Seth (Brooke), Brady, Hank, Tatum, Evelyn, Hayden, and Landon Graham, Elizabeth (Sean) Mulligan, and Tessa Daly; and great grandchildren Gavin, Morgan, Ayden, Parker and Anastacia.
A cremation has been entrusted to the Howe Mortuary and Crematory.
A family gathering and celebration of her life will be held later this summer.
Contributions may be made to the Longmont Baseball League, P.O Box 65, Longmont, CO 80502.
