Connie Reves Sanders, age 84, of South Plains, passed away on March 21, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00A.M., Friday, March 23, 2018 at First United Methodist Church with Pastors Kyle Brock and Ricky Carstensen officiating. Arrangements under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Lockney.
Connie was born on February 7, 1934 to George Elmo and Mable (Youngquist) Reves in Jones County, Texas. She married Hansel M. Sanders on February 9, 1949 in Plainview, Texas. They were blessed with over 59 years of marriage. Hansel preceded her in death on July 31, 2008.
Connie enjoyed her time outside, where she loved to garden. Her favorite past time was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved very much. Connie liked to cook and bake, she was especially known for her German Chocolate Cake. Connie always put her family first; but she had a special place in her heart for her church and church family. She was a proud member of the First United Methodist Church in Lockney.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Hansel Sanders, her parents, her brother, Doug Reves, and her sister, Shirley Eslinger.
Connie is survived by her sons, Mark Sanders and wife Dee, Gary Sanders and wife Jeni, her beloved grandchildren, Shea Sanders, Kelli Simdon and husband Chris, Dane Sanders and wife Robin, Kylan Francis and husband Matt, Kallan Sanders and wife Michael Ann, and her 10 great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
