Craig was born on February 2, 1959 in Mission, Texas, to Charles R. Carr III and Tinsey L. Brown Carr. He attended and graduated high school in Mission. In 1977, Craig entered the U.S. Air Force and served his country for four years. Craig was a jack-of-all-trades. He was well known around Evant as a handy man that could be called on to fix anything.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Carr and Tinsey Brown Carr.
Craig is survived by his daughter, Cayla Rose Carr; son, Steven Andrew Carr; sisters, Carolyn Malone and Nannette Pate; brothers, Charles Robert Carr IV and Clinton Ray Carr; and several nieces and nephews.
