Thomas Michael Ferrell 71 of Logan, WV departed this life on Friday, March 16, 2018 at his residence.
He was born October 25, 1946 at Crooked Creek, WV a son of the late Carmel Ferrell and Ernestine (Conley) Evans, step-son of the late Charles Yeager and Chester Evans.
In addition to his parents and step-parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Ella Ferrell, Wilson & Susan (Steele) Conley, and Ella & Clyde Yeager, one sister, Rose (Yeager) Erlewine, father and mother-in-law, Bycle & Georgia Hensley, uncle, Rodney Scott Conley, cousins, David Cremeans, Judy Sheid and Becky Grosbeck, sister-in-law, Linda Susie Hensley and brother-in-law, Timmie Hensley.
Thomas enjoyed going to church, fishing, camping, sports events of his grandkids, and spending holidays with his children and grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sandra (Hensley) Ferrell of Verdunville; one daughter, Aimee (Myron) Colegrove of Lenore; two sons, Mike (Linda Carey) Ferrell of Culloden and Eric (Angel Meeks) Ferrell of Verdunville; two sisters, Lydia (James) Blue of Greenbrier, AR and Jacqueline Shepard of Columbia, SC; one brother, Greg Yeager of Logan, WV; eight grandchildren, Adam and Carey Ferrell of Culloden, Cameron, Isaac and Mylee Colegrove of Lenore and Emily, Lucas, and Liam Ferrell of Verdunville; four brothers-in-law, Odell Hensley, Adron (Peggie) Hensley, Bycle Junior Hensley, and Bill Erlewine; two sisters-in-law, Adean (Denny) Gullett and Kathy Yeager; a host of nieces and nephews, church family that he loved, and his cherished friends, Jeff and Ginger Hargraves.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Hargraves officiating. Burial will follow at Bycle Hensley Family Cemetery, Buck Fork of Harts, WV.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 6 9 pm at the funeral home.
