Arlene Lois Baker, 87, known to her family as ‘Babes’ and ‘A. Lois’ to her friends, was born in Arlington, WA on July 31, 1930 and passed away on March 19, 2018 in Bellingham, WA.

Lois graduated from Mount Baker High School in 1948. In 1951 she was united in marriage to Marvin White; then in 1964 to Clyde Baker.

Lois worked for 22 years for the North Washington Credit Bureau.

Lois loved to cook, play bingo and solitaire, work crossword puzzles, watch the Mariners, go to garage sales, Farkle, and do Wednesday lunch with her daughter and granddaughter. She also had collected over 100 clocks that she loved. Her last residence was at the Vintage Apartments in Bellingham where she had many good friends.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Karen Ridley and husband Paul; son, Danno White and wife Becky; sister, Ellen “Doots” Courtney and husband Foster; grandchildren, Dana White, Craig White and wife Naomi, and Jennifer Corfee and husband Shane; five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Demetrius, Kenzie, Kitieri and Olivia.

She was preceded by many loved ones.

A Life Celebration service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Lynden VFW, Post 9301, 7011 Hannegan Road, Lynden.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
