Alexander, 68, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10 AM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Martinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23 from 12 to 8 PM, at the funeral home.
Michael passed away on March 20, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Michael was happiest at Patoka lake, where he could be found fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his life partner, Karen Smothers; parents, Norval and Mary Jean Alexander; and one brother, Robert D. Alexander.
He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa (Darrell) Coyle and Mimi (Scott) Brand; grandchildren, Amelia, Kathryn, Eddie, Kristopher, Tyler, Lindsey, Chassidy, and Zach; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Jacquelynn, Eli, Kayleigh, IV, and Jayden; siblings, Diana Mull, Russell (Debbie) Alexander, and Janetta Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
