Judy L. Barber, age 66, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on November 9, 2011.
She was born April 20, 1945 in Sharpsburg, Ohio to the late Argyle and Maxine Smith.
Judy retired from Worthington Foods and was a member of numerous clubs, including a Life Member of AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary 1928, American Legion Don Gentile Post 532, VFW Ladies Auxiliary 495, the NAUS Club of Columbus and Women of the Moose Columbus Ohio Chapter 206.
She attended Sonshine Mission.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Barber, her parents and a brother, Timmy Smith.
She is survived by her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Russ and Debby Kennedy and granddaughters, Meredith and Jaime; siblings, Sherry (Glenn) Kennedy, Benny (Mary) Smith, Greg (Bev) Smith, Twila Hall, Becky (Mike, deceased) Butcher, Dixie (Clint) Hamwey and Chantelle (Jim) Seelig; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and good friends.
Family may call at 2 p.m. and friends may join at 3 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43204; Pastor Eugene Ramsey, officiating;
Private interment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Judy's memory to Mount Carmel Hospice through the Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio.
