December 16, 1950 - March 14, 2018 - After a valiant battle with Multiple Sclerosis Sandra Lynne (Alexander) Murray's spirit left her earthly body behind at Bethel Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center in Muncie, Indiana and charged victoriously into heaven on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. She is now free, as God intended her to be.

A resident of Daleville for many years, Sandy was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 16, 1950, the daughter of Howard and Joan (Bahns) Alexander. She was a 1969 graduate of New Palestine High School. Sandy enjoyed camping with her family, traveling, IU Basketball and the Cincinnati Reds. She especially loved the annual summer trips to Topsail Island in North Carolina with a beach house full of family and friends. Before the onset of MS, she was an accomplished water skier and softball player.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 38 years Gerald (Jerry) Murray (Daleville) ; daughters Abby Slye (Husband Adam), Yorktown and Andrea Watts (Husband Aaron), Pendleton.; and her precious 2 year old granddaughter, Ruby Slye.
