Phillip Andrew Rogers, 42, of Fairmont, passed from this life in his home Monday (March 19, 2018) from complications with his heart. He was born in Fairmont on March 28, 1975, a son of Larry Rogers of Morgantown and Sherry Poling Moye of Fairmont, with whom he made his home.
Andy was a Christian by faith. He had worked as a chef in the area. He enjoyed playing his guitar, dirt bikes and watching the road outlaws on television.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his four children, Baylen Rogers of Fairmont, Haley, Kemper and Dylan Freeze all of Grafton; two sisters, Rikki Butler and Rachel Moye both of Fairmont; maternal grandparents, Martha and Ralph Niggemyer; paternal step-grandfather, Roger Wilson; aunt and uncle Debra and Dorsey Floyd; uncle Gene Rogers; nieces and nephews, Anayla, Reese and Ian Butler, Kahlil Jones and Arianna Hall; also several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lyle Rogers Sr. and Doris Jean Wilson; and his maternal grandfather, George Poling.
Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the Frey Home For Funerals (Addition Chapel A) 320 Madison St., Fairmont. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Butch Summers officiating. Interment will follow in the Nuzum cemetery.
