Rosalie Davis, age 88, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2017.
Rosalie was born on September 1, 1928.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Francelle Rentz, her sister, Jean Jordan, her first husband, John D. Mettauer, second husband, Kenton Davis and dear friend, Don W. Eakin.
Rosalie is survived by three sons, David Mettauer and his wife, Sandy of Palestine, Texas, John Mettauer and his wife, Diana of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Mark Mettauer and his wife, Linda of Denver, Colorado, step-daughters, Carolyn McCloud and Paula Chisholm and step-son, Layne Davis, 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Rosalie grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Texas Christian University in 1949. Rosalie moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1973 and worked for Sunwest Bank until retirement. Rosalie formerly was a 5th grade teacher in Texas.
Rosalie was a member of the New Mexico Graphoanalysis Society, Albuquerque Federated Republican Women and a member of the Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in Broomfield, CO.
There will be a private family graveside service.
