Marilyn June Lewis Floyd Snyder (1937-2018), age 80, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed from this life at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born on November 12, 1937 in Lynn, Indiana. She was a most loving Christian mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a long-time member of the Karns Church of Christ. After many years serving the Lord in her Christian walk, teaching bible classes and going on mission trips, she has now gone on to the Lord to receive her crown of righteousness.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Ronald Dean Floyd (married 1956-1963), second husband William R. Snyder (married 1964-2014), parents Russell William Lewis and Mildred Louise Clark Lewis, brother Leonard Lee Lewis.

She is survived by her daughters Sherrye Floyd Woodall (Gregg), Terrie Floyd Owens (Scott), her sons Jim Snyder (Joyce), Jeff Snyder (Candy), and “loved as a daughter” Donna McAntyre Woodall (Gary), grandchildren Stephanie, Tiffany, Benjamin, Jonathan, Kristen, Laura Beth, Taylor, Lauren, Bethany, Jarrett, Stacee and Samantha, great grandchildren Wrigley, Walton, Adalynn, Brooklynn, Carrigan, Luke, Lexi, Austin, Jude, Evelyn, Emma and Addie, sister Madonna Lewis Shore (Russell). A special thanks to her Karns Church of Christ family for your love, prayers and support during this difficult time.

Receiving of friends will be on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Karns Church of Christ followed by a funeral service, officiated by Steve Higginbotham and family members. There will be a graveside service on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 10:00am at the Berry Highland West cemetery on Sherrill Lane.
