Marvin and Clara Richardson went to be with the Lord only one day apart after 65 years of marriage. Marvin Guy Richardson passed away on March 17, 2018 in Fort Smith and Clara Dean Richardson passed away on March 18, 2018 in Fort Smith.
Marvin was born February 5, 1929 in Camden, Arkansas to Marvin Guy and Mary Gladys McAnulty Richardson. Marvin was a retired salesman of Bearing and Power Transmissions for Allied Bearings Supply Company, a member of the Arkansas National Guard, and past commissioner of Church League Baseball. Both Marvin and Clara were faithful members of the First Baptist Church of Fort Smith for over 50 years.

They are survived by one daughter Anne Richardson of Fort Smith; one son, Alan and wife Brenda Richardson of Corinth, Texas; two granddaughters, Ali Richardson Lopez and Brianna Richardson; two great grandsons, Brayden Lopez and Colton Lopez; and their niece, Debbie Tull; and great niece, Lauren Williams.

Funeral service will be Friday, March 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Fort Smith and burial will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Oakland Cemetery in Fordyce, Arkansas all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
