Norman W. Mahan, 63, of Port Orange passed away on January 7, 2011. He was born in Worcester, MA. He is the son of the late Dorothy and William Mahan. He was employed by Votran in South Daytona. Norman was a veteran serving in Korea. He leaves behind two sons, Norman W. Mahan Jr and his wife, Jeannette of Ormond, Stphen Mahan and his wife, Kristen of South Daytona; three grandchildren; four sisters, Patricia Johnson and husband, Erling of Deltona, Rita Wilson and husband, Barry of Cherry Valley, MA., Mary Johnson of Shrewsbury, MA., and Susan Messier and husband, David of Worcester, MA.; and many nieces and nephews. Mass will be held on Friday January 21st at 8:30 am at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Halifax Humane Society of 2364 W. LPGA Blvd, Daytona Beach.
