Beverly L. Scott, 76 of Colorado Springs, Colorado and formerly of Kempton, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 attended by her grand niece Jami Borders in Colorado Springs. She was born on December 10, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Oscar & Dorothy (Kasting) Pollert. On February 21, 1981 she married Raymond Scott who he preceded her in death on August 17, 1991.

Beverly retired from SBC/Ameritech. She was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs. Beverly served in the Women’s Army Corps, a division of the United States Army.

She is survived by a niece, Kelly Borders-St.Clair and husband Jim; two nephews Jesse L. Borders Jr. and wife Debbie, SFC (ret) Rusty L. Borders and wife Kelly; nine grand nieces and nephews, 13 great-grand-nieces and nephews and three 2x great grand nieces. Beverly was preceded in death by three sisters, Sonja J. Borders, Ruth A. Selmeyer and Paula Bolte and one niece, Robin J. Beecher..

A graveside service for Beverly will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 22 at Kempton Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Robb Roloff presiding. The U.S. Army and Tipton American Legion will provide military honors. Visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 Noon – 1:30 p.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home.
