William Arthur Roby, 88, died Tuesday at St. John's Medical Center. He was born Jan. 29, 1885, in Ava, MO and has lived in Joplin the past 75 years. Me was married to Juanita Hendricks Roby.
Mr. Roby was a retired candy maker. He was a member of South Joplin Christian Church; Joplin Masonic Lodge No. 335 AF&AM; Joplin Scottish Rite Bodies; Knight Templars Lodge No. 39, Joplin Royal Arch Masons Chapter No. 91; Joplin Ascencion Commandary No. 39; Mirza Shrine of Pittsburg, KS; Azotus White Shrine of Joplin; Mirza Shrine Band of Pittsburg, KS; honorary member of Abu Ben Adhem Shrine of Springfield, MO; and honary member in the De-Molay Legion of Honor.
Services announced by Parker Mortuary. Burial to be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
