Frank Mills Petty, 73, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002. He was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Detroit, MI, to Thelma and Delmer Petty. He resided most of his life in Joplin, MO.
He married Judy Nolan, Apr. 15, 1970.
Frank purchased Harold's Club and renamed it Frank's Lounge. He was a member of the Joplin Elk's Lodge No. 501. He owned and operated Ozark Speedway and leased trucks to CFI. He was an avid racer.
Services announced by Parker Mortuary. Burial to be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ's Community Methodist Church Youth Group or the Joplin American Legion Baseball Team.
