Our beloved daughter and sister peace- fully left us on Friday morning, 16 March 2018. Gail was born on January 16, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a graduate of St. Augustine Academy in Lakewood, Ohio. Gail enlisted in the U.S. Navy shortly thereafter and was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan for most of her enlistment. She then started her career with the U.S. Department of State. She was posted at U.S. embassies in Malawi, London, Cairo, Vienna, the Ivory Coast and Santa Domingo and finally Washington, D.C.
She retired to Texas to be near her mother and sisters. Gail is predeceased by her father, Les Thompson and her brother, Kurt Thompson.
She was a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan and never met a cat she couldn't adopt, foster or feed. There was a crowd waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge.
Rest in peace, ma'am.
