Louise was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church. She was employed by the Benton School District as secretary to the Principal for over 30 years. She worked for several years at the State Capital as secretary to the Chief Clerk in the House of Representatives. After her retirement, she spent several years as a receptionist at the Union Bank of Benton. Louise was a member of the Talisman club and a board member of the Gann Museum.
Most importantly, Louise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She shared her wonderful sense of humor with every one and loved a good laugh. Louise enjoyed her years of work and being surrounded by others. Generosity was her byword, it shone from her with every smile and gesture. She will be remembered for the smile and giving heart. Mother always said: “I love my girls and would do anything for them.” And she did! She gave of her time, her faith, her happiness and never made it seem like an effort on her part.
