She was born May 27, 1922, in Summitville, to the late Frank J. & Esther (Hammond) Inglis.
Jeanne earned a bachelor's & master's degree of Education at Ball State University. With that she taught in secondary education in Muncie, Summitville, Alexandria, & Marion. In her career, she taught girl's physical education, business education, and served as a guidance counselor, before retiring in 1984.
She is survived by her sons, Lynn (wife, Carolyn) Howell and Bruce (wife, Jan) Howell; grandchildren, Mark Howell & Melinda Fraser; great granddaughter, Harper Howell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Charles K. Howell; children, Karin & Kevin Howell; and brother, Don Inglis.
Services will be at Noon, Tuesday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Entombment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
