MISS MADALYN SAGENDORF As a result of a severe attack appendicitis for which she was operated upon at the Ellis hospital last Thursday. May 29th. Miss Madalvn Sagendorf, 17 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Sagendorf Cherry Valley Junction, died there early Monday morning, The young girl had been taken to the hospital May 24tth, and she was apparently recovering following the operation, although on Saturday her condition came suddenly worse.
The death of the young maiden, popular in her home and friends, has cast a shadow in the home circle as well as among her classmates in school. She has gone from the minority side to the majority side and her name is now enrolled in the silent register. Unlimited sympathy Is bestowed upon the bereaved family. Miss Sagendorf was 17 years of age having been born at Esperance on April 5, 1907, the daughter of Homer and Lila M. Kling Sagendorf.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o’clock this (Thursday) morning in the Warnerville church with Rev. G. L. Bice officiating. Burial will be made in the Sloansville cemetery. In addition to her parents, the young girl is survived by three sisters. Gertrude, Mildred and Pauline, one brother, Burtis, all at home.
