Born and raised in Mansfield, Josephine was employed for over 35 years at Westinghouse Corp. After retirement, Josephine enjoyed gardening, crocheting and vacationing, especially at Myrtle Beach. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Snows Catholic Church. She was married to William H. Long for over 50 years before his passing.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandy (Brad) Long-Lusk; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cats. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Long; parents; and siblings.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2018, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service conducted by Rev. Father Nelson Beaver will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
