Timothy James Maxwell, 54, of Malta, passed away at 1:05 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.
He was born Nov. 21, 1963, in Beverly, OH, to the late Dean Oliver Maxwell and Anna Margaret Biedenbach Maxwell.
Tim was a 1982 graduate of Morgan High School and had worked at the former Taylor Woodcraft. He also worked as a machinist at Milacron, in Cincinnati, and at Maxwell's Hunting and Fishing in McConnelsville. Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He is survived by his wife of nine years, Teri Moore Maxwell; three sons, Beau (Melissa) Maxwell, Nathan (Emily) Maxwell, and Christopher Moore; two sisters, Rebecca Dilley and Susie Gibbs; four brothers, Mark Maxwell, Frederick Maxwell, Tony Maxwell, and Claude Maxwell; four grandchildren; and an aunt, Twyla Townsend.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Delilah Johnson; and a brother, Bob Maxwell.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 19, at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at the funeral home, with Harmon Thomas officiating.
Tim will be laid to rest in Deerfield Cemetery.
