Lula Grace Barnes, 83 of Chester passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at her home.
She was born December 21, 1934.

She was preceded in death by first husband Matt Barnes; her parents, Fay and Clara (Williams) Tibbits; a daughter Kay Beaver; son Ricky Barnes; a grandson Kevin Beaver; two brothers Ray and Donald Tibbits; and a sister Glenda Tibbits.

She was the former owner of Barnes Country Corner Store, a member of the Shamrock Community Church.

She is survived by her husband Alva (Buddy) Barnes; two daughters, Karen Moses and husband Steve and Barbara Workman and husband Josh all of Cedarville; a Step-daughter Teresa Aldridge and husband Nick of Cedarville; two sisters Zita Worth of Broken Arrow and Anita Tibbits of Roland; eight grandchildren Stephanie Maxwell, Sara Brimble, Matthew Moses, Stephen Workman, Jacob Workman, Mary Aldridge, Hannah Aldridge and Zack Aldridge; eight great-grandchildren Kaycee and Colby Maxwell, Kayla, Justice and Darcy Workman, Christopher Brimble, Ashley and Kaleb Beaver.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Grandview Assembly of God Church with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Matthew Moses, Stephen Workman, Jacob Workman, Christopher Brimble, Colby Maxwell and Zack Aldridge.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Members of the Shamrock Church
