Loyd Howard, 80, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 18, 1937 to Oscar and Ada Helton Howard in Magoffin County, KY. He was a retired Carpenter and a member of the Pillars of Truth Church.
He is survived by one son, Dawson Howard (Rita) of Jeffersonville, KY; one daughter, Rosa Spencer (Johnny) of Jeffersonville, KY; one brother, Paul Howard of Magoffin County, KY; four sisters, Geraldine Skaggs of Ashland, KY, Edith Williams of Jeffersonville, KY, Joyce Caudill of Mt. Sterling, KY and Margaret Arnett of Mt. Sterling, KY; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
He addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ella Lee Howard.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Wednesday, March 21, 2018, Pastor Ray McIntosh officiating and burial following at Patrick Cemetery in Magoffin County, KY. Visitation will be 5-8 PM, Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Pallbearers will be Garrett Brian Ward, Gregory Keith Ward, Jordan Brewer, Craig Schenk, Jeremy McClanahan and Randy Brewer.
