Mrs. Florence McCalester, 73, of 340 1st St., Moline, died in the Bloomfield, Iowa, hospital at 7 last night where she had been for the last 10 years.
The body will be returned to the Esterdahl Mortuary where arrangements are pending.
Mrs. McCalester was born Oct. 10, 1888, in Webster, Iowa, and was married to Wray H. McCalester Sept. 8, 1926, in Albia, Iowa.
She was a member of the Webster, Iowa, Congregational Church, the Rock Island White Shrine; and was a member for more than 50 years of the Moline Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are the widower; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Larson, Moline; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Laura McCook, Seaford, Del.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers preceded her in death.

Services for Mrs. Florence McCalester, 73, of 340 1st St., Moline, will be at 1:30 Monday afternoon in Esterdahl Chapel with the Rev. Ellis Youngdahl, chaplain of Lutheran Hospital, in charge. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ernest Palmer, Jeral Grabusch, John Crilley, Robert Larson, W. Woodere and Joe Lerschen.
Moline Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, will conduct special services in the chapel.
Mrs. McCalester died Thursday evening in a Bloomfield, Ia., hospital.
A stepson, Howard, prededed her in death.
