Mrs. Mary Ann Boyd Phillips, 76, died Sunday morning, June 27, at her home in Ontario, Calif. She was born in Christian county, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Holland and lived here until 28 years ago when she moved to California.
Survivors include nine children, Edd and Weir Boyd, Mrs. Lydia McCaslin and Mrs. Jessie Pew of California, Joe Boyd of St. Joseph, Mo., Mrs. Alice Thompson of Springfield, Mrs. Loyal Bunch of Nixa, Mrs. Huber Chapman and Sam Boyd of Ozark; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Lydia Stowe, Mrs. Lizzie Stowe, and Mrs. Fannie Mooney of Springfield, and Mrs. Maggie Gray of Rogersville and one brother, Willie Holland, also of Rogersville and four stepdaughters, Mrs. Eva Laughlin and Mrs. Goldia Bray of Idaho, Mrs. Francis Logan of California and Mrs. Willie Wells of Rogersville.
Funeral services and burial were conducted Tuesday afternoon at Ontario.
