KEITHVILLE, LA - Tommie Yates Furlow, 68, of Keithville, Louisiana passed away Friday, April 6, 2007 at a Shreveport hospital. She was born June 17, 1938 in Joaquin to Thomas Yates and Dovie Hinton Yates. Mrs. Furlow was a member of the Mansfield Road Baptist Church and also a member of the Red Hat Society.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. Glenn Scruggs and Bro. Donald Ray Bush officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Center.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Thomas Yates and Dovie Hinton Yates; Two Brothers; One Sister; Son, Donnie Matthews
She was survived by Husband, Buck D. Furlow of Keithville, Louisiana; Daughter, Debbie Mahaffey of Slidell, Louisiana; Son, Jimmy Matthews of Shreveport, Louisiana; Stepdaughter, Pam Coleman of Keithville, Louisiana; Stepdaughter, Peggy Kolb of Kimberling City, Missouri; Stepson, Buck E. Furlow of Blanchard, Louisiana; 8 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.
