Raymond C. Baldwin, 87, of Moline, died Thursday, March 15, 2018, at home.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, 6601 38th Ave. Burial will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal, where military honors will be conducted by the Moline American Legion Post 246. Memorials may be made to New Hope.

Raymond was born on February 8, 1931, in Detroit, MI, the son of Jamie C. and Mable O’Dell Baldwin. He married Ruth Bryan on December 27, 1961, in Farmington, IL. He worked as a spot welder at Case IH for 36 years, retiring in 1993. He then went on to drive a school bus for Johannes Bus Service for 12 years.

Raymond was a veteran, having proudly served in the U.S Navy during the Korean War era from 1948 to 1951. He was a member at New Hope Church and was a lifelong YMCA member and hand ball enthusiast.

Survivors include his wife Ruth
