Angela Elizabeth (Palakovich) Miller, 91, passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital in Helena Tuesday morning, March 6, 2018.

Angela was born November 5, 1926 in Anaconda, Montana, to John and Helen Palakovich. After attending St. Peter's Elementary School and graduating from Anaconda Central High School, Angela attended and graduated nursing school at St. James Hospital in Butte as a Registered Nurse. Her decades long career as an RN included working at St. James Hospital and for physicians in Butte and Anaconda. Angela married Leo Joseph Miller of Butte on December 27, 1947, at St. Peter's Church in Anaconda.

Angela is survived by her children Mary Kay Flynn (Spokane), Donald Miller (Regina, Saskatchewan), Mark and Anne Miller (Olympia), and Ann Lynn and David Riley (Helena); grandchildren Jennifer and Scott Price (Colorado Springs), David Flynn (Seattle), Christopher Riley (Missoula), Lindsay and John Cantrell (Coeur d' Alene), Kristian Miller (Seattle), Katherine Miller and Patrick Salamon (Victoria, BC), Dana Miller (Minneapolis), and Eric Miller (Regina); great grandchildren Nicholas (Seattle), Alexander and Katherine Price (Colorado Springs) and Peyton and Brody Cantrell (Coeur d' Alene). Surviving sisters and brothers Helen Turtle, Frank and Annie Palakovich, John Palakovich (Anaconda), Margaret Bossard (Missoula) and Dorothy and Tom Lankeit (Spokane), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Angela was preceded in death by her husband Leo, her three infant sons John, Paul and Christopher, her parents John and Helen Palakovich, sister Mary and brother Joe Palakovich, father-in-law and mother-in-law Joseph and Frances Miller, and daughter-in-law Sherry Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the charity of your choice.
