She attended Dublin Street Church of Christ where she continued her love of learning by being a vibrant Sunday School teacher and worked with the youth department, was a member of the Dublin Street Chorus, a founding member of the Robert and Janie Smith Scholarship Fund and also worked on the finance committee. She truly loved the Lord.

Janice was a worldwide traveler to places such as Australia, Africa (a safari) and Spain, just to name a few. She was a people person and knew no stranger on her many adventures near and far. She was also known as a local actress. One of her starring roles was in "Ain't Mis Behavin," in which she literally rocked the house.

She departed this life on March 17, 2018. She is survived by her mother, Mary; goddaughter, Janis; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her first cousin, Don Bradley.

She made a difference in the many lives that she touched and will truly be missed.
