Virginia Lee Wahler, 55, Los Angeles, Calif., died Saturday, Feb 18, at Daniel Freeman Hospital in Inglewood, Calif.

She was born July 30, 1922, at Fall River, Kans., to Roy Denver Gage and Genevieve Beulah Jacques Gage.

She moved south of Arkansas City as a child with her parent. She attended local schools, graduating from the Arkansas City High School i 1940. In 1941 she moved to Loas Angeles and married Verne O. Wahler in June 1947.

She is survived by her husband of the home; one son, Hugh Edward of Los Angeles; her mother, Mrs. Genevieve Gage, Rt. 4; five brothers, Conrad, Disney, Okla., Archie, Concord, Calif., Roy, Martinez, Calif., John, 707 South D St., Jack, Rt. 4., and one sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Neda Jo) Bills, Rt. 3.

Preceding her in death were her father in 1937 and one brother, Tom in 1960.

Arrangements are pending and will be announced by the Grant-Elder Funeral Home.
