Milford, DE - Mr. Timothy Patrick McGrath, born on May 16, 1938 in Jersey City, NJ, to the late Mary Ellen Bradley and the late Daniel McGrath, passed away at the age of 79 on March 15, 2018 in Milford, DE. Timothy served in the Navy from 1956 to 1959 and he also worked in the Stock Market/Financial Services industry as a research specialist at Merrill Lynch until he retired in 1998. He was a member of St. Bernadette, Harrington, DE. Timothy was the loving husband of Rosemarie McGrath.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John McGrath, and sisters, Margaret Prendergast, Eileen Russo, and Mary Helen Donofrio. Timothy is survived by his sons, David McGrath and Michael McGrath; daughter, Colleen Woodcock; brother, James McGrath; sister, Kathleen Johnson; and grandchild, Lindsay Shea Woodcock.
Friends and family members may attend the wake on Wednesday, March 21, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, DE, 19963. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 22 at St. Bernadette CC, 109 Dixon Street, Harrington, DE, 19952. Interment Delaware Veterans Cemetery - Millsboro.
