BETTY GRACE (STUMBAUGH) MCGREW
GRANVILLE - Betty Grace McGrew, age 79, of Granville, OH, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 23, 1938, in Mount Vernon, OH, to the late Russell C. and Alice (Snyder) Stumbaugh Sr.
Some people would know her as "Mert", a nickname her father gave her.
Betty was a 1956 graduate of the former Amity High School.
She was an avid Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr. fan and loved to watch the races. Betty's hobbies included drawing, coloring and going shopping. She enjoyed taking care of people, a job she did for over 20 years.
Her greatest joy in life was being around her grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Roy McGrew; her daughters, Elizabeth (Mark) Blackburn and Amy Pyle; grandchildren, Zachary, Dustin, Mason and Brayden Blackburn, Benjamin, Madeline and Megan Koelzer.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Russel C. Stumbaugh Jr (FAG # 74680188).
Burial in Amity Cemetery, Knox County, OH.
