Anne Therese James passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Bellingham, WA. Anne was 48 years old. She was born in Joliet, IL on October 14, 1966 to Margaret (Decman) and Donald James. She graduated from LeClaire, Iowa Professional Nanny School and attended Scott Community College in Iowa. Anne was active in the Down Syndrome Organization of Whatcom County. Anne was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt and will be remembered for her generosity and kindness. She was a loving nanny and caregiver. She loved Irish music, history, and traveling to Europe. Anne loved her family and made beautiful needlework quilts for each of her nieces and nephews. She was an avid reader and lived her life with joy. Anne was always up for adventure and living life to its fullest. She loved road trips, trips to Vegas, taking her great nieces and nephew to the Lynden Fair, and was always up for an Irish Festival. While she loved new experiences, Anne was most comfortable at home surrounded by her family. Anne was preceded in death by her father Donald Joseph James and is survived by her mother Margaret Ann James; brother Michael James; sisters Meg Baker, Mary James, Rose James, Katherine James and Sara Childers; numerous nieces and nephews including her niece Lauren whom she helped care for. Memorials may be made to the Down Syndrome Organization of Whatcom County. A memorial service will be 9:00 a.m., Saturday, October 3,
