Dominic Anthony Malone, 86, passed away April 18, 2016 in Lake Havasu City.

He was born April 10, 1930 in Chicago to Carmen and Florence (Citro) Malone.

Dominic served his country proudly in the U.S. Marines for eight years. He married his beloved wife Harriet in Chicago on Feb. 12, 1955. Together they moved to Havasu 29 years ago, coming from Chicago.

Dominic loved his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved woodworking and had a tool for any family project that would come up. He especially loved spending time on his pontoon boat. He was known for whistling tunes as well as being a big tease. Dominic was happiest when he was surrounded by his family. He will be deeply missed and always loved.

Dominic is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Harriet Malone of Lake Havasu City; sons Wayne (Penny) and Dominic Malone; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Josephine and Terry (Eric); sister-in-law Karen, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carman and Florence, and siblings Sam, Palm, Frank and John and daughter-in-law, Mary.

A funeral service is set for 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. A reception will follow. Burial is at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Full military honors will be presented by the Marine Corps League Honor Guard.
