Levi attended Seneca Indian School in Wyandott, Oklahoma and High School at Chillocco. After his school years Levi enlisted in the United States Army and served till Honorably Discharged. He then enlisted in the United States Marines where he had a 21 year career of service. Following his military retirement he began employment at Zachary Machine Shop in Muskogee, then P.R.I. Sound Control before going to work at Northeastern State University at custodian.
He and Norma have been together since 1983.
Levi enjoyed fishing, chasing wild onions, catching crawdads, woodworking and raising Koi.
Levi has been preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Nancy Ryther, Ramona Carey, Juanita Crittenden; and four brothers, George Roach, John Roach, Walter Roach and Joe Roach.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Norma of the home; four children, son George Roach, and wife Lisa of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Rosemary Howard and husband Michael of Hulbert, Oklahoma, Debra Scott and husband Gene of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Alan Mahaney and wife Kim also of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; he also leaves ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Leo Roach of Moore, Oklahoma and William Jack Whitener and wife Marie of Olympia, Washington; and many extended family members and friends.
