Roger D. Patterson, Jr., age 42, of Mt. Morris passed away on Tuesday January 16, 2018. He was born on March 5, 1975 in Rochelle, the son of Roger D and Karon (Crouch) Patterson. Roger was raised in Mayfield, Kentucky for most of his life and moved here seven years ago. He attended Grace County High School in Mayfield and also attended Oregon High School. Roger worked as a Union construction worker. He was a talented builder. He is survived by his parents, Roger D. Patterson, Sr. of Mt. Morris and Karon (Dudley) Crouch DeMoss of Mayfield, KY; children, Jacob Toms of Milledgeville, IL, Keegan Akins of Forreston, IL, Ethan Patterson of Mayfield, KY, and Aurora Jade VanHorne of North Dakota; siblings, Jerry Patterson, Jennifer Reed, and Rebecca Reed all of Mayfield, KY. A visitation will be held on Sunday January 21, 2018 at the Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home in Oregon from 1-3 PM.
